Drone shows in Romania

Drone show in Bucharest

We have flown in Bucharest. We have the experience to secure flight clearance, both at national level and the local permits a city event requires.

Bucharest is the city we fly in most often and also the most complex airspace in Romania. Otopeni and Băneasa cover a significant part of the north, and areas near government buildings carry their own restrictions. In practice that does not mean a show is impossible — it means the site has to be fixed early.

We have flown in city parks, at shopping centres, at the national stadium and at private venues around the city. Each one had its clearance obtained in advance and its safety zone agreed with the organiser.

Militari Shopping City

What flying here actually involves

Airspace

Otopeni and Băneasa affect flying in the north of the city. The south and east are usually simpler. We check the exact site before quoting.

Venues used

IOR Park, the Militari area, Arena Națională and event estates in Ilfov county — all have worked for shows of different sizes.

Large crowds

In the city the safety zone has to be physically secured. At large public events we work alongside the organiser’s stewarding team.

Regional experience

We deliver shows across the country with the same team and the same procedures, and we know the clearance requirements and the suitable sites in the region.

Frequently asked questions

Can you fly in central Bucharest?

In many central locations yes, but it depends on the exact site and what surrounds it. Send us the address and we will tell you the same day whether it is possible and what clearances are needed.

How far in advance should a Bucharest show be booked?

Four to six weeks for private events. For public events inside the city we recommend eight weeks, because clearances take longer.
