The coast is the most spectacular place in Romania for a drone show — the audience looks out over open water with no buildings cutting the view — and also the most temperamental. The sea breeze shifts in the evening, and wind speed at 100 metres can be nothing like wind speed at ground level.
So in Constanța we plan with a reserve window. We measure wind at altitude before take-off, not just on the sand.
