Cluj has the busiest events calendar outside Bucharest and an audience used to large productions. That raises the bar: a 50-drone show that lands perfectly at a countryside wedding disappears at Cluj Arena.
It is also a city with long viewing distances — the central square, the park, the arena. The configuration follows where the audience stands, not just the budget.
Avram Iancu International Airport sits east of the city and affects flying in that direction. The centre and the west are usually simpler.
Cluj Arena, as part of UNTOLD. For public events, Parcul Central and Piața Unirii are the sites most often requested.
For a festival audience we recommend 200 drones as a minimum. Below that the show gets lost against the stage production.
